Stafford Yard wins Residential Development of the Year at the Insider South West Residential Property Awards.

We’re delighted to announce that Stafford Yard, Dandara Living’s flagship Build to Rent scheme in Bedminster Green, Bristol, has been awarded Residential Development of the Year (+100 units) at the Insider South West Residential Property Awards 2025.
Located on a former brownfield site within one of Bristol’s key regeneration areas, Stafford Yard is a landmark project that forms part of the Bedminster Green Framework Area.
Delivered through close collaboration with Bristol City Council and a wide network of partners, the scheme is a leading example of urban renewal in action providing 295 high-quality rental homes, alongside 21 affordable homes delivered in partnership with Bromford Housing.
The development is already making a significant impact, both in terms of placemaking and community benefit and a focus on sustainability - including connection to the Bristol District Heat Network, and an ambition to achieve a 4-star Home Quality Mark (HQM) rating. It also champions active travel with over 300 secure cycle spaces and excellent links to Metrobus and rail networks.
A key feature of the scheme is its thoughtfully designed amenity offer, including a gym, co-working suite, communal kitchen and lounges, roof terraces and landscaped gardens and commissioned public art by local creatives, delivered in partnership with UpFest.
The win follows years of engagement with local groups such as The Actor’s Workshop, Windmill Hill City Farm, The Mazi Project, and Southville Primary School.
